SGT PAPERS

@sgtpapers

Sgt. Papers is the explosive garage-punk duo of brothers Iván and Felipe García, born in Sonora, Mexico in 2017. Known for their ferocious live shows—loud, raw, and relentlessly energetic—they’ve become one of the most uncompromising forces in Mexico’s independent scene. Think broken noses, lost phones, and sweaty mosh pits: proof that punk is far from dead.

With four albums and over 300 shows across Mexico and North America, Sgt. Papers has built their reputation on consistency and grit, steering clear of industry trends in favor of carving their own path. Their music takes rock’s tired clichés and rewires them into something huge, fresh, and timeless—songs that are at once irreverent, profound, and instantly memorable.

Their cinematic music videos add another layer to their world, often unfolding like short films. In 2025 they release Fuga! on In The Red Records (vinyl + digital), earning raves from critics, fans, and live audiences alike.

Sgt. Papers isn’t chasing a moment—they’re here for the long run, expanding globally with one simple promise: their live show will grab you, shake you, and not let go.

MARGARITA SANDOVAL

Ofrenda artist

My origins are rooted in colors, scents, flavors, and traditions. I see myself as a monarch butterfly (Quetzalpapalotl), representing transformation and adaptation, much like the immigrant journey I’ve experienced. Flowers, especially cempasúchil, remind me of my childhood, with their intense orange blending with butterflies. I come from the land where the Aztecs founded Tenochtitlán and believed that butterflies carried the souls of fallen warriors. I love my traditions and enjoy working with flowers, using them to celebrate or grieve, honoring those who have left us. Now living in Minnesota, I’m grateful to share my traditions with my community and teach my children about our culture, knowing they are proud of their roots.

DILEMASTRONAUTA

@dilemastronauta

Experimental Colombian Music based in New York.

Andres Jimenez, better known as Dilemastronauta, is not just a musician or producer— he’s a pioneering force in the world of Tropical Futuristic music. Born in Colombia and having spent 25 transformative years in the dynamic cultural hub of New York, Dilemastronauta has carved out a bold, genre-defying path with his innovative sound.

“SLEEPWALK” is the latest EP coming out on Figure and Ground Records.
“This project was born out of a musical residency down in Bushwick at this place called Sleepwalk. I wanted to understand and play with the Millo flute, which is a tiny but powerful flute born in the Colombian Northern coast.

Press:

“Dilemastronauta — the musical project of Combo Chimbita drummer Andres Jimenez — took raved-up Cumbia beats and tropical grooves, undergirded by syncopated blasts of percussion, and shot them straight into space on lysergic swirls of twinkling electronics.” – New Haven Independent

To cut to the quick, Dilemastronauta is a chance to hear what Jimenez is really doing, to hear what he’s normally up to behind the curtain of vocals and guitars. But that understates.
